How can I help the police with internet safety?
November 30th, 2008 | by admin |I have heard of people going online and collecting information by chatting with potential predators in chat rooms and then forwarding on the information to law enforcements. How do I help if I want to be involved?

I would contact your local law enforcement or the FBI. I would suggest however that you do not try this without their consent/supervision. There are a couple of pitfalls. even if you got someone like that, you may use language that gets them out of the charge because you entrapped them, and even if you did it correctly, it is not admissable in court without law enforcement monitoring. Bottom line, don't proceed without law enforcement go ahead.

I don't know the answer either! But I am watching this question in hopes to find out too! I have been interested too to find out. My friend and I watched a show about it and out of curiosity went online to a teen chat room and posed as a 14 y.o. girl and within 10 minutes we were contacted by three men ranging in age from 24-48. Within 5 minutes of chat they asked if we were a virgin.
It is a sick world out there. Being as I currently don't work, I would love to participate in helping get these sicko psycho's off the street.

is something to download long enough to grab their ip address dont matter if their behind a router youve got direct connection, pic hehe thats the lure then run netstat then put this into netstat while sending them a file -n a ip address will come up thats your ip use yahoo messenger or another im program open up another netstat window and type the same command then you will see theirs copy their ip address then send to the appropiate agency or this is another way http://www.kalkaskasheriff.net/compcrim.html : good luck
